Burriana, is arguably the best beach in Nerja. It certainly boasts the
best facilities: shops, bars, restaurants, sunbed & umbrella hire,
outdoor activities and pedaloes! What more could you want? History?
Why not watch the fishermen going about their business using
traditional boats and equipment.
The beach itself a mix of
small stones and sand which makes for great sand castles ;) but does
make digging the inevitable giant hole to bury your dad in, a bit
tricky. (Kids, here’s a tip... get dad to dig it himself).
During the summer months a
life guard will keep you all safe in the water, and year round the
parking vigilados in their orange jackets will keep your car safe...
as long as you cough up the 80cents. The parking fee is optional but
bear in mind it goes towards building a new nightclub for the elderly
to swing their sticks at. No really it’s a care home for the elderly
so it’s for a good cause.
So there you have it. Playa Burriana,
something for everyone, go enjoy it!
